After nearly 30 years of marriage, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have no shortage of playful banter.

The longtime couple, who have been co-hosting LIVE with Kelly and Mark since 2023, often poke fun at each other on-air, much to the delight of their audience.
This week was no different, as Kelly called out her husband for allegedly reading her private journal—an accusation Mark firmly denied, though she wasn’t convinced.
Kelly Ripa Accuses Mark Consuelos of Snooping

The conversation started innocently enough when Mark casually mentioned that Kelly had left her journal “out by your bed stand once or twice.”

That simple comment was enough to spark a hilarious (and slightly tense) exchange between the two.

“Yeah,” Kelly acknowledged before narrowing her eyes at her husband. “And have you read it?”
Mark immediately shot back with a firm “No,” but Kelly wasn’t buying it.
“You’re a liar,” she accused, refusing to let the topic drop.
Even as Mark continued to insist, “I haven’t, I haven’t,” Kelly doubled down.
“You are a dirty liar,” she added, emphasizing her disbelief.

Mark then tried to defend himself, insisting that he had no interest in reading her thoughts.
“I don’t want to know,” he said. “I just want my reality to be my reality.”
But Kelly wasn’t done yet.
“What I think about you is fascinating,” she teased, suggesting that Mark might actually enjoy reading her musings. “I think you would like it.”
Kelly Also Calls Out Mark’s Poor Photography Skills
This wasn’t the only time Kelly took playful aim at her husband during the show. In another recent LIVE episode, she aired her frustrations over Mark’s less-than-stellar photography skills.

The discussion started when the show’s longtime producer, Michael Gelman, asked to see photos from their recent family vacation. Kelly explained that she had taken thousands of pictures, as she always does, capturing moments of their travels.
“I took my usual 2,000 to 3,000 vacation photos of my family,” she said.
However, when Gelman asked her to share some, she realized she didn’t have any of herself. That’s when she turned to Mark.
“I told him, ‘Go get Mark’s phone because as I recall, about six days ago Mark took a photo of me, and I would like to see it,’” she explained.

But Kelly had already anticipated what she would find—or rather, what she wouldn’t find.
“You know, there are never any photos of me on vacation,” she lamented.
She even joked about how this could become a problem in the future.
“Like when I pass away—not to be macabre—but when I pass away, the only photos that will prove that I exist are paparazzi photos,” she said. “So thank you, paparazzi.”
Mark’s Hilarious Response to Kelly’s Dark Humor
Mark, ever the jokester, took Kelly’s remark and ran with it.

“So when you pass away, am I in charge of dressing you? Choosing your outfit?” he asked.
But Kelly revealed she had already taken care of that detail.
“No, the outfit is already picked out, and it’s in the basement, and it’s in plastic, and it says, ‘In case I die,’” she shared.
She then went on to describe the outfit in full detail.
“It’s black, it’s Dolce & Gabbana, it’s classic,” she said, making sure Mark knew she had planned everything in advance.

The Big Reveal: The Only Photo Mark Took of Kelly
Finally, Kelly got her hands on Mark’s phone and scrolled through his pictures to find the one photo he had taken of her during the vacation.
Her reaction? Pure disappointment.
“So I got your phone this morning, and I scrolled, scrolled, scrolled, and I found the photo,” she said.
When they revealed the image, it turned out to be a sunset photo of Kelly walking along the beach—but only her shadowy silhouette was visible.

That was the last straw for her.
“You know when they show Bigfoot?” she joked, referring to the famously blurry and distant images of the mythical creature.
“That’s like Littlefoot,” she quipped, perfectly summing up her frustration with Mark’s lackluster photography skills.
A Love Story Built on Banter
Despite their constant back-and-forth, Kelly and Mark’s relationship remains one of Hollywood’s strongest.
The couple first met on the set of All My Children in 1994, and just two years later, they eloped in Las Vegas. Since then, they have built a beautiful life together, raising three children: Michael, 27, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 21.

While their on-air squabbles may seem intense at times, they only reinforce what fans love about them—their undeniable chemistry, humor, and genuine love for each other.
Whether they’re debating Mark’s photography skills or accusing each other of snooping, one thing is clear: after nearly 30 years together, they still know how to keep things entertaining.
