Drew Barrymore and Selma Blair shocked audiences when they were seen “groping each other” live on air: “They were even moaning in pleasure…” – News

Selma Blair found herself in a rather unexpected situation during her recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.

The lighthearted moment occurred when host Drew Barrymore, 49, abruptly halted the conversation with Blair, 52,

and fellow guest Valerie Bertinelli, 64, to discuss an unusual topic—body odor.

What followed was a playful and unexpected interaction between the Cruel Intentions star and Barrymore, which left both the audience and their fellow guest entertained.

However, the show wasn’t all fun and games, as Blair later opened up about a serious health matter—her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis (MS).

A Scent-sational Moment On-Air

The now-viral moment kicked off when Barrymore confessed her preference for wearing men’s t-shirts, particularly ones with what she described as a “little bit of a smelly pit.” Bertinelli was quick to chime in, reassuring Barrymore that she doesn’t actually have any noticeable body odor.

“It’s because you don’t smell!” Bertinelli remarked.

That’s when Blair, playing along with the moment, leaned over and took a sniff of Barrymore’s underarm as the talk show host dramatically opened her suede jacket.

“Are we really here right now?” Blair joked before going in for the sniff.

To her surprise, Blair discovered… nothing.

“Nothing!” she exclaimed, seemingly amazed by the absence of any scent.

Barrymore, clearly pleased, responded humorously, “I have other issues, but scent isn’t one of them.”

The Unexpected Switch: Barrymore Takes a Turn

Just when the audience thought the sniff test was over, Barrymore decided to turn the tables—leaning in for a whiff of Blair’s armpit. This time, it was Blair who appeared embarrassed, covering her face in mock horror.

“Oh no, you will not be happy!” Blair warned.

Unfazed, Barrymore responded with enthusiasm.

“Perfect! Great!” she exclaimed, seemingly delighted with the outcome.

Blair, now in on the joke, lifted her arm once more, giving Barrymore a second opportunity to test her scent—or lack thereof.

“Nothing!” Barrymore confirmed, echoing Blair’s earlier reaction.

As the lighthearted exchange continued, Bertinelli made it clear she would not be participating in the impromptu sniff challenge.

“I’m not raising my arm,” she quipped, prompting laughter from the audience.

From Laughs to a Serious Conversation

While much of the segment was filled with laughter, the conversation took a more serious turn when Blair opened up about her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis.

Blair was diagnosed with MS in 2018, a condition that affects the central nervous system, leading to symptoms such as numbness, weakness, vision problems, and difficulty walking. The actress has been open about her struggles and has often used a cane to assist with mobility.

During her conversation with Barrymore, Blair revealed that she recently experienced a relapse—something she had initially been reluctant to acknowledge.

“I did have a relapse, and I didn’t even really want to face that,” she admitted.

She went on to explain that after experiencing new symptoms, she realized she needed medical attention once again.

“So the first thing I had to do was find a doctor again because I had stopped seeing doctors. I thought I was fine, but then I didn’t feel fine. It turned out I did have a relapse,” she shared.

Blair also highlighted the importance of finding the right medical support, noting that her new doctor, a woman, made a significant difference in her care.

“I found a doctor that could really listen to me, and it was a female doctor, and that really helped me—just so many different things I wasn’t aware of,” she said.

Encouraging others to seek support, Blair added, “So this is just to encourage people to start talking about it.”

A Memorable Appearance with a Meaningful Message

Selma Blair’s appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show was certainly one to remember. What started as a playful and unconventional moment between two Hollywood stars quickly evolved into a heartfelt discussion about health and resilience.

While Barrymore and Blair’s unexpected sniff test brought plenty of laughter, Blair’s candid discussion about MS served as an important reminder of the challenges faced by those living with chronic illnesses.

Through humor and honesty, Blair continues to use her platform to raise awareness about multiple sclerosis, proving once again that she is not just a talented actress—but also a strong advocate for health and wellness.
